The Aura and Chakras are all part of our 'spiritual' or energetic body. Both are influenced by internal and external factors, which are our inner state (or emotions, thoughts and beliefs) and environmental factors. They are interactive. That is - when we walk into a group space, the energy of our Aura can pick up energy from the Aura of other people in the group space, especially if they are standing or sitting within the boundaries of our Aura. Relationships can impact our aura and chakra function as well- relationships, by definition, are the way we interact with people. There is more than one type of relationship: the parental, sibling, and family types of relationships; the relationships with our intimate partners, neighbours, and the wider environment; and our colleagues and peers. In the broader context, doctors, lawyers, police officers, and other legal professionals are examples of our professional relationships, and we adapt our behaviour and our Aura within those relationship interactions. We might act powerfully, humbly or submissive. Our energy field will either expand or shrink depending on the scenario. So, to reiterate - as the Aura shrinks and grows, the chakras will also respond to the energy of the Aura and our emotional or attitudinal response to what is going on around us; however, the Chakras will either speed up or slow down as a response.

Chakra System

The concept of Chakras is from the Vedas and is loosely translated from Sanskrit to mean 'Wheel". They are the 'energy points within the human body and aura' and interact with the aura, the internal environment, and the external environment. They are called 'wheels' because they are in a constant state of motion; however, clairvoyants or people with psychic vision have described them as appearing as 'lotus flowers', spinning balls of colour, or as 'vortexes' or funnels of energy that enters and exits the body at different points. They correspond to the function of the body, the mind (thoughts and beliefs) and any feelings we hold (emotions). Additionally, their higher purpose is spiritual. Technically speaking, about 114 chakras support the health of the human energy system. However, most people will refer to the primary seven chakras, which are situated on the spine because these are the vital chakras that oversee the function of the other chakras. At the same time, other vital chakras play a crucial role in achieving potential, finding life purpose and meaning, and evolving the soul.

Of course, this concept of soul evolution is aligned with the belief that we are all souls first and that we walk the earth as part of our soul's purpose to experience human life, and we may have more than one human experience. The concept of a Divine Plan is a faith-based concept related to reincarnation. The Divine Plan is also known as the Divine Blue Print and the Divine Path, where certain aspects of our lives are 'mapped out', while most of our experiences are 'free will' or freedom of choice.

For everyone, it will be unique and different, which is why we are encouraged to respect the individuality of each person, their beliefs, and choices while at the same time developing an expansive human consciousness—one of brotherhood and sisterhood and 'do no harm" or for others "do unto others as how you would have them do unto you'.

However, as with all things, it starts at the base. Consider the body akin to a high-rise building, and without solid foundations, the entire structure can become shaky, and it only takes some external factor for the building to come crashing down. So, too, is the body's energy system. Please start at the base, build it, strengthen it and then move to the next chakra. Avoid trying to force things to happen too quickly, as it can undermine the structure's strength. However, it would be misguided to interpret this advice as 'work only on the ONE chakra at a time' - the advice is to work on all chakras at the same time and not in isolation.

Additionally, where you find a 'block' in your aura, it is usually treated with another chakra. For example, a person experiencing emotional distress may, during a chakra assessment, recognise that the block is located in their orange chakra. They can certainly focus their intention and intent on their meditations or activities to unblock the orange chakra. However, when it is out of balance, and a person is distressed, then blue is the colour that infuses a person with peace and a feeling of being protected and safe. The distress may be associated with a communication breakdown and a lack of understanding or empathy; in such cases, it might be beneficial to do colour healing with the Purple (crown) to help process the events. If the distress relates to an inability to forgive others, they might want to work with emerald green. If it is a symptom of anxiety, then they would be encouraged to work with the Lime green and the orange at the same time.

Treating symptoms of a blockage is a short-term option, such as visiting a doctor or obtaining a prescription. It's an interim approach to health and wellbeing. Optimal health is achieved through a lifestyle change, recognising the 'early warning signs', and prevention is better than a cure. As you build and strengthen your chakra system and structure - colour and crystals are a great way to 'treat' and energise your body. You can learn more about colours by visiting the pages on colours and crystals. Far better to incorporate concepts of 'spiritual hygiene' as part of your daily life.
